Seek God First

So I am reading this book titled "When God Writes Your Love Story" (by Eric and Leslie Ludy), I am a third of the way through the book and I am loving it more with every turn of the page!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ANY GUY OR GIRL OUT THERE LOOKING FOR THE BEST LOVE YOU COULD IMAGINE!

I was lost in thought the other day and I kept thinking about what I had been reading...my ponderings gave me this:

If I do not spend any time preparing myself and my heart for my future partner I am stealing an amazing God written love story from myself and my future man.

HELLO! That was a kick in the side that I needed! Seek God first with all your heart, soul, and mind. Put God at the center of all areas of your life.

Thanks God, I needed that kick ;)

P.S. if you read the book let me know what you think about it!

I feel like life is passing me by and I don't have a clue how to catch up or keep up.
I keep living each day one at a time, but the past keeps infiltrating my thoughts.
I want today to define me, I want today to be a new day, a new adventure.
I don't want to get caught up in the what if's and what could have been's,
I want to move forward,
I want to live for God,
I want Luke 10:27 to be true in me everyday of my life: "Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and muscle and intelligence" (The Message).

I think this summer will be good for me,
I am going to fill it with friends and new memories,
I don't want summer to end with me regretting not doing something,
I want to live,
I want to love,
I want God with me everyday,
I want to wake up every morning with God's love in my heart and on my mind,
I want to be....I want to BE,
I won't let life pass me by this summer,
I will catch up and have the best year of my life so far!

Another Word for Love = Mom

Happy Mothers Day to all the mom's out there! You all have the hardest jobs....day in and day out you get up and raise a family....you love unconditionally...you support without fail...you watch your kids do stupid things, or say stupid things that hurt; yet you are still there for them no matter what. You have the most generous and forgiving hearts and you make the world a more beautiful place. I thank God every day for the wonderful, amazing mom he gave me!

Thank you to the mom's and have a very wonderful day!

Melt My Heart

I give all I have to you God.
Melt my heart and make it new for you...I want to love as you do.
I am yours and you are mine.
Open my eyes to see the world as you do oh God.
All my love is for you first.
Awaken me to what life really is Father.
I will follow oh God to where ever you lead me.
Light a lamp for my feet, though I know with you I am not lost.
Father God in heaven, I want to love you with all I am.
I want to be a vessel for you to move through to reach the lost.
To sow the seed.
To show Your love and mercy.
You are for now and forever, today and future.
Melt my heart for you Father.
