Okay So Just Think About This...

There are about 7 billion people living on this earth right now. Many lives already gone and many soon to come.

God has made each and every one of these people different...they are all unique and quirky in their own way.

The way God speaks to each person is different. The way each person is convicted by God is different, as well as what convicts them.

God challenges people with the same thing in different ways.
God has written a different and unique story for every single person that ever was, is, and will be!

Can you imagine the infinite ideas He has for us?!

Can you see the library where He stores every treasured book?

It completely blows my mind, in the best way, to think about how creative our God is. How He can have so many stories that He writes for each person! He amazes me!

When He showed me this, the friend I was with and I, were in awe!

And every time I think about it I still smile in awe at His greatness.

Oh and I honestly am very excited to see that library of His!
My God is not a fairy tale. He is the truth and He is real!

Funny how God reminds you of certain things that you didn't even think you needed to know! And how he reminds you...through different things and people...blows my mind sometimes!

"You Gotta Freakin' Tithe Bro"

So that was basically what we were told during tithe and offering tonight at youth group.

He said, we’ve already given you tons of scriptures and you just aren’t doing it and to give you another scripture would be like trying to beat a dead horse ya know….so i’m just gonna tell you this…You gotta freakin’ tithe…you just gotta do it.

This young man told us that he was low on money in is bank account and that he hadn’t been tithing. He started worrying about money and was like what am I gonna do there is so little left. And then he said that God told him “You gotta freakin’ tithe bro”. So he did and half-way through this week this young man already has $500 in his account.

WOW

So all I gotta say to all of you…just freakin’ tithe!

Stay blessed!

Seek God First

So I am reading this book titled "When God Writes Your Love Story" (by Eric and Leslie Ludy), I am a third of the way through the book and I am loving it more with every turn of the page!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ANY GUY OR GIRL OUT THERE LOOKING FOR THE BEST LOVE YOU COULD IMAGINE!

I was lost in thought the other day and I kept thinking about what I had been reading...my ponderings gave me this:

If I do not spend any time preparing myself and my heart for my future partner I am stealing an amazing God written love story from myself and my future man.

HELLO! That was a kick in the side that I needed! Seek God first with all your heart, soul, and mind. Put God at the center of all areas of your life.

Thanks God, I needed that kick ;)

P.S. if you read the book let me know what you think about it!

Today I read this saying and it just made me smile and think yeah that is so true!

Here is roughly what it said:

Even if you are doing something small (even if it is a little thing) doing that thing with someone special makes you a lot happier.

I feel like life is passing me by and I don't have a clue how to catch up or keep up.
I keep living each day one at a time, but the past keeps infiltrating my thoughts.
I want today to define me, I want today to be a new day, a new adventure.
I don't want to get caught up in the what if's and what could have been's,
I want to move forward,
I want to live for God,
I want Luke 10:27 to be true in me everyday of my life: "Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and muscle and intelligence" (The Message).

I think this summer will be good for me,
I am going to fill it with friends and new memories,
I don't want summer to end with me regretting not doing something,
I want to live,
I want to love,
I want God with me everyday,
I want to wake up every morning with God's love in my heart and on my mind,
I want to be....I want to BE,
I won't let life pass me by this summer,
I will catch up and have the best year of my life so far!

Another Word for Love = Mom

Happy Mothers Day to all the mom's out there! You all have the hardest jobs....day in and day out you get up and raise a family....you love unconditionally...you support without fail...you watch your kids do stupid things, or say stupid things that hurt; yet you are still there for them no matter what. You have the most generous and forgiving hearts and you make the world a more beautiful place. I thank God every day for the wonderful, amazing mom he gave me!

Thank you to the mom's and have a very wonderful day!

Be Yourself!

"It's who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That's the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship. God is sheer being itself—Spirit. Those who worship him must do it out of their very being, their spirits, their true selves, in adoration."

I have had a couple little reminders in the last couple days...so I thought I'd pass it on =]

Take time and reflect on what is going on.

Take time to feel God's presence in your life.

Take time to appreciate every need you have being met even if you don't have everything you want.

Take time for you...because even though you think everyone else is more important...YOU are important too!

Take time to enjoy life!

a little note

Do not fear...I am the lamp that sits at your feet to guide the way along this dark and narrow path...you may not see the destination, but if you follow me I will surely guide your footsteps so that you will not fall...do not fear...for I am with you always.

God spoke this to me today...just a little reminder for me =]

He is so wonderful!

New Year

Hey all! Happy New Year (slightly belated)!

This last year sure has been a year of change, but I've learned through these changes that change isn't really so bad. Without change I wouldn't grow or have new experiences, I'd just be doing the same old boring stuff over and over again (and I've heard a time or two that doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is INSANITY!) So I have grown to look for all the good in changes that come my way =]

This past year I've struggled with my relationship with God pretty much because I gave into the belief that I'm lazy and I procrastinate. Well this year one of my goals ( I just decided this now) is to not confess those two things over myself, instead I will be saying "let's get that homework done now" and "what else can I do to help? I'm full of energy" =] Another resolution I made this new year (which I decided before Christmas, but didn't start til the new year) is to get into God's word more, so for Christmas I asked for a devotional Bible, which I started on the first day of 2011! So far so good!!!

Classes at my college start up again tomorrow! I'm looking forward to and dreading it all at the same time! haha My schedule: Psychology as a social science, Math (like calculus or something), first year spanish, interning at the college paper, yearbook staff at my high school, and finishing up a redo for my photography final of last term! =)

Looking forward to a great year full of good change and adventure! There is always room to grow into a better me! Wishing you all a great year, full of life and happiness!
